(Nov. 30, 2011) The senior midfielder shined at the Maryland Association of Coaches of Soccer (MACS) All-State Game played Nov. 21 at Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, leading the Baltimore-area all-stars to a 5-1 win over their Washington-area counterparts. Spivey, last year's All-Metro Player of the Year, played a part in each of the five goals ¿ scoring three times and assisting on the other two. In leading the No. 1 Eagles (18-3) to a second straight Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference championship this fall, she finished the season with 19 goals and 14 assists, while dominating the middle of the field. Set to play at Maryland next year, she finished her four-year high school career with 85 goals and 57 assists. Spivey is a member of the U.S. under-17 women's national team.
