After a late-April call-up, the Los Angeles Angels' rookie center fielder quickly became an MVP contender. He batted .326 with 30 homers, 83 RBIs, 129 runs and 49 stolen bases -- and his advance metrics might be even more impressive. He was also a finalist for a Gold Glove (which went to Adam Jones), and if not for Cabrera winning the triple crown, he'd probably be the favorite for MVP.
