Big East Midfielder of the Year had 90 points, the second-highest total in program history, and was the leading scorer for Team Australia in the Stars and Stripes tournament last fall. IWLCA All-America first-teamer had a point in every game, extending her streak to 26 straight games, and scored in every contest but the NCAA quarterfinal at Maryland. Before coming to Loyola, Paton played alongside Jen Adams (her future coach with the Greyhounds) and Cassandra Cursaro (a future teammate) on the Australian Senior national team that took the silver medal at the 2009 Women's World Cup.
