Snow Ice Cream

Former Sun food columnist Rob Kasper reports that he has made this recipe for ice cream made with fresh snow and fed it to his sons with no ill effects. Just to be sure, he called the Maryland Department of the Environment, which reported that pollution is exceptionally low in cold weather.<br>

Here's the recipe:<br>

Snow Ice Cream <P>
Serves 4<P>
1 cup cream<P>
3/4 cup sugar <P>
1 teaspoon vanilla <P>
2-quart bowl filled with clean, compacted snow<P>
Mix cream, sugar and vanilla in a small bowl. Pour cream mixture into bowl of snow, stir until well mixed.  Serve immediately.<br>
