A crowd of more than 300 women, with a smattering of a few men, descended on the Baltimore School for the Arts - the alma mater of actress Jada Pinkett Smith - for a "Girls Night Out" hosted by the Hollywood star. Before Smith took the stage in the auditorium to answer questions from the audience at the Associated Black Charities event, several dozen guests had an opportunity to mingle at a VIP reception, with a chance at meeting Smith when she swung by just before the program.
