At one point, Adriana Misoul, 23, wanted to pursue a career onstage.
"A lot of my friends here knew me as the musical-theater girl; I was always singing. But now I'm learning to love being backstage, being in the crew rather than the cast," says the Pikesville native, who's now studying special-effects makeup for film at the Make-Up Designory in New York City.
At the gala celebrating Ronald McDonald House's 30th anniversary, Misoul showed that her talent for putting together a great look goes beyond her skills as a makeup artist.
HER STYLE: "Boho chic. ... I like to be a little bit flowy; nothing too clingy. I like to be comfortable, yet beautiful and elegant. ... I like to look fashion-forward and a little bit edgy."
WHAT SHE'S WEARING: A gray faux chinchilla jacket by Tart Collections from hautelook.com. A deep fuchsia taffeta BCBG strapless dress with bow embellishment on the waist and pleated ruffle hemline. Gold leather wristlet with rhinestone bow from Sassanova and a group of diamond dotted rose gold bangles custom made by local jewelry designer Suchi Krishnaswamy.
HER FASHION FAVES: She loves Free People and Anthropologie for everyday apparel, and Nicole Miller for dressier occasions. I love makeup. I think a stellar makeup job can complement any outfit.
