Glimpsed at the MICA Annual Benefit Fashion Show: Jordan Matthews

Jordan Matthews, 21 - a senior majoring in fibers with a concentration in experimental fashion - was one of the designers whose work was featured in the MICA Annual Benefit Fashion Show. Even if she's not wearing her own designs, the Baltimore native has what she calls an ¿edgy, sleek, dramatic¿ style. To take her bows that night, Matthews wore a black sheer sleeveless Forever 21 high-low dress over a black tank top and black shorts from Urban Outfitters. Matthews found her garter-patterned tights on eBay, and her Jeffrey Campbell black ankle boots with spike-covered heels at Boutique 1017. Her big snakeskin and pewter Givenchy cuff was a gift, as was her heart pendant. She found her silver hoop earrings at Charlotte Russe. Even though Matthews generally wears a lot of bright colors and patterns - neon is a particular fave these days - she decided to go with one of her many little black dresses for the fashion show. "Because I was presenting my line, I didn't want to be too distracting," she said.
