Giant Food workers from the distribution center hold a rally at the offices of the Teamsters Union Local 639 over concerns that they could lose their jobs this spring. Giant contracted out with a company, C&S Wholsale Grocer, but now the union contract is getting ready to end. In <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100700000000" title="New Jersey" href="/topic/us/new-jersey-PLGEO100100700000000.topic">New Jersey</a> the same company got rid of everybody. Ken England, a 24 year employee of Giant, works as a forklift driver on the dry goods side of the plant, holds up a sign against the owner of C&S Wholesale Grocer, Rick Cohen.
