While the textbook Manhattan typically uses rye, the Owl Bar uses Woodford Reserve, a 90-proof small bourbon whiskey from Kentucky with a woody flavor and a smoothness that masks its potency.

<b>Owl Bar's recipe</B>
<BR><BR>
3 ounces Woodford Reserve bourbon<BR>
1 ounce Martini & Rossi sweet vermouth<BR>
1 dash of Angostura bitters
<BR><BR>
Pour contents into a shaker. Shake and serve up in a chilled martini glass.
