What's in Store: Maryland Antiques Center

This isn't a shop. It's a complex: 20 mini-shops -- including a tea room -- located in two adjoining buildings on Route 5. Dealers here specialize in everything from small collectibles to high-end antiques, shabby chic home decor, fine art and crafts, gifts and hard-to-find vintage pieces. This Australian myrtle wood burl table ($1,125) was made by artisan Dave Kelsey. The gourd basket with a dogwood flower design ($45) was created by his wife, Marta Kelsey. The Maryland Antiques Center is at 26005 Point Lookout Road (Route 5), Leonardtown. Call 301-475-1960 or go to marylandantiquescenter.com.
