What's in Store: HonTown

This shop -- one of the newest on the Avenue -- offers all sorts of home accents and accessories. "We call it fun, funky and fabulous," says owner Denise Whiting, who also owns Cafe Hon and Hon Bar across the street. Among many versions of the pink flamingo here, you'll find this 2-foot high glammed-out bird ($250) made of glass-beaded wire by artisans in Southeast Asia. What's more, this fowl can weather the weather, so he'll perch indoors or out. HonTown is at 1001 W. 36th St. Call 410-243-1001.
