So many items in this Easton shop will bring a smile to your face and add a little sunniness to your home. There are lots of colorful linens, table-top items and accent pieces to choose from -- chief among them the wide variety of bisque pieces that owner Kemper Chapman handpaints and fires in her Easton studio. All are microwaveable and dishwasher safe. The only thing you can't do is take one directly from refrigerator to microwave or oven. Just a few examples of the range of patterns and pieces that Chapman creates: a pasta/salad bowl in a vegetable pattern ($65), a covered European butter dish decorated with bunny and summer flowers ($40), and a crab motif pitcher ($50). Trade Whims is at 15 N. Harrison St., Easton. Call 410-822-9610 or go to tradewhims.com.
