Glimpsed at Network 2000: Tierra Dorsey

Tierra Dorsey's fashion mantra is, "Keep it classic; keep it simple." We thought the 43-year-old Reisterstown resident was a classic herself when we "glimpsed" her on her lunchbreak at the annual Network 2000 Luncheon at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. The development director for the department of surgery at the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="OREDU0000156" title="University of Maryland, College Park" href="/topic/education/colleges-universities/university-of-maryland-college-park-OREDU0000156.topic">University of Maryland</a> School Medicine wore a gray cotton knit sleeveless Julia Taylor dress that featured a ruffled neckline, that she'd found at Marshalls. She'd jazzed it up with a gray, white and black leopard print cotton Charter Club jacket from <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCRP000017399" title="Macy's, Inc." href="/topic/business/consumer-goods-industries/clothing-textiles-industry/macys-inc.-ORCRP000017399.topic">Macy's</a>. She'd added black tights and pointy toe buckled pumps from the Anne Klein store. Pops of color came in a purple double strand necklace she'd purchased at a Reisterstown boutique and a raspberry Coach carry-all. "My husband bought this for me." Dorsey's fashion secret turns out to be her husband. "He buys all my bags. He's good at it."
