Glimpsed at Network 2000: Sarah Sedlak

Just because she has to dress professionally for work as the director of business development for the Glass Jacobson accounting firm doesn't mean Sarah Sedlak, 29, can't be creative with her style. "You always see so much black, brown and gray. So, I like to add a bit of color," says the Bel Air resident. That's exactly how we found her on her lunchbreak, attending the annual Network 2000 Luncheon at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. Sedlak went with a black Swiss dot cotton blouse with ruffled collar from Talbots and paired it with a red stretch pencil skirt from H&M. She'd added black textured Anne Klein hose from TJ Maxx, a pair of filigreed gunmetal teardrop shaped earrings that were a gift, a pair of black pointy toe BCBG booties from DSW and a black crocodile patterned leather Fossil tote from Macy's. She added another little pop of color with a multi-color Pucci scarf tied to her bag. That scarf is part of one of her favorite fashion tricks -- find most of your apparel at less expensive stores, and ratchet up your look with better accessories.
