On Friday, Mr. Rain's Fun House hosts its second annual Pig and Whiskey dinner in honor of the Southern Louisiana tradition of "La Grand Boucherie," the communal butchering of the pig. Chef Bill Buszinski will serve a $55, five-course pig tasting menu paired with American Whiskies selected by Mixologist Perez Klebahn, which guests will have the opportunity to sample neat or in a crafted cocktail (available à la carte, $8 $14). Chef Buszinskis meat-centric menu includes Scrapple and eggs, seared pork belly, Jagerwurst with housemade sauerkraut and sucking pig in duck fat. For dessert, it's bacon and egg ice cream.
