Canton and Highlandtown have seen an explosion of Latin eateries in recent years ¿ offering truly authentic cuisine that's worth the trip, especially if you live in the city. The Cantina style taco is the gold standard of such eateries, featuring fresh pillowy tortillas, lime garnish, cilantro and onion with a selection of house made salsas. No cheese, shredded lettuce or tomatoes to complicate matters. Just simple, elegant tacos, $2-$3 each, with a (very) wide variety of meat fillings to choose from. Ground beef, shredded goat, lips, cheeks, chunks of skin and even ears are all par for the course, should you desire them. We visited Taqueria El Sabor Del Parque.
