Linda Praley, 49, says her personal history affects how she currently dresses. "I like to think I'm still in art school sometimes," says the creative director for the University of Maryland Medical Center corporate communications and public affairs. We "glimpsed" Praley at work, looking creatively young-at-heart in a red, purple and black patterned CAbi tunic and black washed linen jean style CAbi jacket with ruffled collar, both of which she bought at a home party. She purchased her black Joes Jeans leggings and black leather double buckled Franco Sarto boots at Nordstrom. The silver wire necklace and pendant was a gift from a friend who bought it from a Paris street vendor. Her son bought her the silver disc earrings at the gift store in the National Gallery. She bought the silver studded cuff at Chico's and the big square silver ring from QVC. Her big square Kenneth Cole watch was a gift. "Used to be the uniform for graphic designers was all black. But, now we're allowed to add a little color," she says. Praley provides a big pop of it with her saffron patent leather cross-body bag that she bought at the Hobo sample sale at the company's headquarters in Annapolis.
