Christine Jones, 42, likes a style that's both "classic and trendy." The Pigtown/Washington Village resident shows how well she combines the two in the outfit she wore to a reception for artist Crystal Moll at Silo Point. The L-3 CommunicationsCQ human resources representative uses classic pieces like a pearl choker from Macy's, gold hoop earrings from South Moon Under, a sky blue J. Crew T-shirt, a black and white tweed Larry LevineCQ coat that was a gift, and a white leather Kate Spade bag and navy suede Tory Burch ballet flats from Nordstrom. She then adds trendy touches like the J. Crew skinny jeans, and the black cotton knit Ambition jacket with peplum and puffed sleeves. All combined, it's a clean, sophisticated look. Some of her fashion rules: "everything in my closet can go together. I like a pop of color. I always, always wear jewelry. And I just love a good neckline."
