As a lighting, furniture and jewelry designer, Melissa Moore, 36, likes her design aesthetic to come through in her personal style. "I'm really into things that don't really seem to go together. But I can create something new [with them]." So, when she came to the Open Walls Baltimore Grand Finale block party on Barclay Street, the Lauraville created a great look that began with a white REI camping shirt and denim maternity knickers that she got from a formerly pregnant friend. Moore found her zipper boots at Beacon's Closet, her favorite consignment store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, N.Y., and her Goorin Bros. straw fedora at 16 Tons. Her clear acrylic framed glasses came from Classic Specs in Brooklyn, N.Y. While Moore says her style varies from day to day, "I'm into the dandy look, but also more military/architectural clothes. I love boots, accessories, hats and jackets."
