Kyle Burke, 40, is attracted to certain colors when it comes to her personal style. "I love earth tones; reds, golds, anything that has shades of the sun," said the Baltimore City Public Schools career and technology specialist. The Randallstown resident was a beacon at the "Celebration of the Arts" reception at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum for Aaron Maybin's Project Mayhem charity. She wore a scarlet jersey sleeveless Laundry dress from Nordstrom that featured a cowl neck and a red sequined racerback. She found her gold leather peep toe Alfani pumps at Macys, and her gold earrings, cuff and bangles at Forever 21, a favorite store for accessories. Burke also makes some of her jewelry herself, like the brass, turquoise and carnelian bead necklace. Her evening bag with silver sequins on gold embroidery was a gift. "I like [my style] to have a little edge, but not be too trashy. I like to stand out. I don't like run-of-the-mill looks."
