Melissa Farrell, 26, likes to start with basic pieces and then add some fun, trendy accessories, like she did for a night out at The Get Down. The Kennedy Krieger Institute behavior therapist started with a black jersey H&M tank top and a tan stretch pencil skirt from Nordstrom. Then the Federal Hill resident added some fab wide-striped H&M tights and matte black leather stiletto pumps with hidden platforms from Bakers Shoes, and finished her look with medallion earrings from Express and a tan wristlet purse from the Coach store. She describes her style as "trendy, but Gap-ish. ... I love the Gap. They have little simple pieces that you can add accessories to, and you're good to go."
