Cara Lankford, 33, says she tries to go for a look that's "city chic with feminine touches." The Kennedy Krieger Institute research assistant says she's also been getting into vintage looks. So when she came to the American Advertising Federation of Baltimore's "Mad Men"-themed awards dinner at the Sheraton Baltimore North in Towson, it was a chance to try out a vintage dress she plans to wear to an upcoming wedding. The Pigtown resident says she found the emerald green silk sheath at The Zone and had it tailored at The Tiny Tailor's Shop. Her black suede T-strap pumps with gold piping from Ann Taylor were a perfect match, as was her vintage black fabric clutch from Debois Textiles. "I used to wear more dull, dark colors. But, I've been trying to include a lot more bright colors in my wardrobe, after getting [good] feedback from my colleagues."
