Jodi Lare, 44, believes fashion is all about having fun in creating a "haute bohemian" style for herself. The Watermont Pharmacy pharmacist says when she goes shopping online, her key search words are "leopard, fringe, patchwork and shearling. ... I love, love, love animal prints and animal jewelry." At the Chris Benz cocktail party/trunk show at Ruth Shaw, Lare was showing the love in a pair of leopard-print Isabel Marant skinny corduroy pants from Ruth Shaw with a tobacco suede western shirt and a cream rabbit and brown leather patchwork jacket -- both by Haute Hippie and both from shopbop.com. The Stevenson resident added touches of wine with suede T-strp Miu Miu wedges from Barneys New York and a calf-hair Chanel bag from Saks Fifth Avenue. Lare found a leopard shaped clasp at Bijoux Inspired Jewels and had it made into a necklace with black beads. Bijoux is also where she picked up her gold locket, in which she keeps photos of her children. The diamond peace-sign pendant from Tiffany & Co. was a gift from her husband.
