Mary Schmidt Amons wasn't just a celebrity guest at the "Runway to Happiness" fashion event at the American Visionary Art Museum. The star of "The Real Housewives of DC" proved herself a celebrity with style. We "glimpsed" Amons at the AVAM party in a black sleeveless Alice & Olivia racer back dress from Urban Chic that featured a sequined and beaded collar. Amons added a pair of Yves St. Laurent black leather pumps from a store in New York City, a gunmetal leather Kooba clutch handbag she'd nabbed from gilt.com and a black cashmere wrap from the BCBG store at Tysons Corner. Her silver David Yurman bangle was a gift. Amons describes her style as "generally very laid back, but I love to have something unique on. I love special pieces. I'm a collector, and a hippie chick at heart."
