Beth Horowicz, 37, was true blue to the "modern chic" theme of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's "Spring Swing" in an electric blue Tibi silk blouson dress that she bought at L'Apparenza. The Pay Pal corporate lawyer added a little sparkle with a crystal-encrusted oxidized chain necklace she found at Neiman Marcus Last Call and framed the outfit with a pair of nude patent leather Stuart Weitzman peep-toe slingbacks from Nordstrom and a black leather clutch from the Cole Haan outlet in Freeport, Maine. It all adds up to a style that's "classic with a trendy twist" for this Roland Park resident. In less dressy situations, Horowicz has been indulging in one trend, in particular -- topping off a look with a blazer. "I really got into a couple of thrift store equestrian jackets this winter to wear with jeans," she said.
