Baltimore dining calendar for the week ahead

On Monday, Mission BBQ opens it third location, and its first in St. Mary's County, in the Sans Souci Plaza in California, Md., near the Naval Air Station Patuxent River. The opening was preceded by a week of charity nights benefiting local fire and police departments and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Nando's Peri-Peri keeps expanding. The 13th U.S. location of the Johannesburg-based specialist in Portuguese-style flame-grilled chicken opens Wednesday at Arundel Mills Mall. All of the U.S. locations are in the D.C.-Baltimore metropolitan area, including outlets in Annapolis and downtown Baltimore.

Howard County's Farm-2-Table Restaurant Weeks is in progress. More than 20 restaurants are offering three-course fixed-price menus, ranging from $10 to $40, during the dining promotion, which continues through Aug. 5. Baltimore Restaurant Week starts on Friday. Restaurants participating in the eighth summer edition of the popular dining promotion will offer fixed-price three course dinner menus for either $20.13 or $30.13. Some restaurants will also serve a two-course lunch, consisting of an appetizer and entree priced at $15.13.

The Gathering, Baltimore's roving food-truck get-together, returns to McHenry Row. That's Friday night from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
