Anne Weil, 40, was so creative with her look at the Pratt Contemporaries Happy Hour at the 13th Floor, it didn't surprise us to find out she is a handmade-design and lifestyle blogger. The woman behind flaxandtwine.com sported a gray-and-white patterned strapless maxi dress with smocked bodice that she bought at a boutique in Boulder, Colo., where she lived until recently moving to Roland Park. Weil added some saffron and gold earrings she found in New York's Chinatown, a gray Gap cardigan and brown riding boots she bought at a Boulder thrift shop. Her gray silk charmeuse Kate Spade evening bag is an 18-year-old treasure. It all adds up to a style that she calls "a little bohemian/prepster." Weil admits she has a weakness for statement necklaces and big earrings. "I wish I could get away with wearing them at the same time," she says. "But, you always have to choose!"
