Glimpsed at the Walters Enthusiasts happy hour: Sarah Pearce-Batten

Sarah Pearce-Batten, 33, was sleek and chic at the Walters Enthusiasts happy hour at the Center Club. The Legg Mason Investment Counsel senior portfolio assistant started with a gray Calvin Klein sheath with flutter sleeves from Bloomingdale's, and added black sheer hose, nude patent Christian Louboutin platform pumps from Barneys New York, gold and smoky quartz drop earrings she bought at Atelerie in Bermuda and a black patent leather crocodile patterned Brahmin tote that was a gift. The Roland Park resident stacked some David Yurman rings with one of sapphire and diamonds that her grandmother found years ago in England, in an old family teapot. "Her mother must have stashed it there during World War I," she said. Pearce-Batten says she generally takes "something classic and pairs it with something flashy. That way, I can get away with both."
