Sarah Schwartz, 31, likes a classic style topped off with bold jewelry. "Especially because I have short hair, I feel like I need to wear a big earring," said the owner of Evie Claire Photography. The Catonsville resident dropped by the Federal Hill shop Curiosity for an after-hours Alexandra Webb pre-Valentine's Day party wearing mixed metal double disc earrings from Zelda Zen with a CAbi black-and-white tie-dye print silk tunic with black straight pants from The Limited and black patent leather pointy-toe Nine West pumps from Macy's. She found her black snakeskin Squared by Sondra Roberts baguette at Webb's former shop. Her hot pink trench was an H&M purchase, while her black-and-white houndstooth infinity scarf came from Target. In addition to statement jewelry, Schwartz says she has another fashion weakness - the nautical look. "I have about 50 striped T-shirts," she said. "My husband will say, 'Another striped shirt?' And I'll say, 'But this is different. It has thin and thick stripes' or 'it has sparkles.' " A top fashion rule for this photographer? "I don't think you should leave the house without a red lipstick. The lipstick makes you instantly look pulled together."
