Jay Godfrey dresses are a must-have for every fashionista. The New York-based designer has come a long way from working for Citigroup on Wall Street. Now the Parsons School of Design alum is responsible for dressing the worlds most famous women, including Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Lauren Conrad, Kim Kardashian, Katherine Heigl and Serena Williams. In just a little more than three years, Godfrey has been featured in WWD, Elle, Cosmopolitan and the other elite fashion magazines. Nancy Lattmann, owner of L'Apparenza, loves Godfrey's work. "It's edgy, fun, colorful and sophisticated," says Lattmann, whose boutique will host a trunk show for Godfrey. A representative from the designer will answer questions about Godfrey's fall, holiday and resort collections, which will be featured at the show. "It will be a catered affair," Lattmann promises.
Attend the Jay Godfrey trunk show Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at L'Apparenza, 6080 Falls Road. Call 410-372-0350.
