Group funeral

Members of the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORGOV0000126141142" title="U.S. Army" href="/topic/unrest-conflicts-war/defense/u.s.-army-ORGOV0000126141142.topic">U.S. Army</a>'s 3rd Infantry Regiment 'The Old Guard' hold the flag over the casket that holds the remains of Army Staff Sergeant Luis M. Gonzalez of South Ozone Park, New York; Sergeant Fernando Delarosa of Alamo, Texas; Sergeant Dale R. Griffin of Terre Haute, Indiana; Sergeant Issac B. Jackson of Plattsburg, Missouri; Sergeant Patrick O. Williamson of Broussard, Louisiana; Specialist Jared D. Stanker of Evergreen Park, Illinois; and Private First Class Christopher I. Walz of Vancouver, Washington State, during their group burial at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. The soldiers were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 5th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division in Fort Lewis, Washington State, and were killed on October 27, 2010 while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Arghandab Valley, Afghanistan when their vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device.
