1. Matt Elam and Darian Stewart

The Ravens have a new starting safety tandem after James Ihedigbo signed with the Detroit Lions, Elam was moved back to his natural strong safety position and Stewart signed a one-year, $1.3 million contract in March. Although both Elam and Stewart have reputations as big hitters, the Ravens' secondary may lack a true centerfielder with the range and instincts to intercept and disrupt passes on a regular basis. This preseason game should provide a solid litmus test for the defensive backs against a Cowboys offense led by quarterback Tony Romo that features proven downfield targets in wide receiver Dez Bryant and tight end Jason Witten.
