Not including write-ins, nine Orioles are on the ballot for this year's MLB All-Star Game July 16 at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets. And, like any good fanbase, Birdland is making a push to get as many Baltimore boys in the midsummer classic as possible, once again launching their "Vote Orange" campaign in late April. It has worked, Baltimore. The O's will likely boast three All-Star Game starters this year in Chris Davis (1B), J.J. Hardy (SS) and Adam Jones (CF), two backups in Manny Machado (3B) and Matt Wieters (C), and could potentially sneak in one more outfielder in either Nate McLouth or Nick Markakis.
