"Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen" runs April 11 to Sept. 13 at Connecticut Historical Society in Hartford. The exhibit features 46 outfits ranging from simple pantsuits to gaudy get-ups with boas, sequins, hats and jewelry, which Hepburn wore in films and stage plays from 1933 to 1986. Frequently, the costumes Hepburn wore reflected her own tastes. As costume designer Edith Head once said, "One does not design for Miss Hepburn, one designs with her." Read story here.
