Pati Hill in New London: Through March 4

Lyman Allyn Art Museum, 625 Williams St. in New London, will run “Pati Hill: Photocopier, A Survey of Prints and Books (1974-83),” an exhibit featuring 120 works on paper, from Nov. 4 to March 4.It will open with a reception from 4 to 6:30 p.m. RSVP: 860.443.2545 ext. 2129.Pati Hill, a novelist and poet who once lived in Stonington, used the copier as an artistic tool, or as she called it a “found instrument - a saxophone without directions.”This is “Alphabet of Common Objects.”www.lymanallyn.org
