Clock & Watch Museum reopens for season
The American Clock & Watch Museum, 100 Maple St. in Bristol, will be celebrating the 63rd anniversary of its founding when it opens for the 2015 season on Saturday, March 28. An exhibit, "Once Upon a Time: Clocks and Watches in Popular Literature," will open that day. Admission is free, but donations of non-perishable food items to benefit a local food pantry will be collected. The museum will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. until the end of November and weekends in December. On Monday, March 30, from 5 to 7 p.m., Micah Tasker of TheVintageWatchMan.com will be at the museum to help visitors learn the history of their special timepieces. A fee of $10 will be charged for each watch, limit of three watches per person. www.clockandwatchmuseum.org.
