A new Connecticut theater company called MiLo Productions is presenting the two-person musical “The Story of My Life” by Neil Bartram and Brian Hill Friday through Sunday, Aug. 21 to 23, at Deep River Town Hall Auditorium, 174 Main St., Deep River.

The script, about a lifelong friendship nearly wrought asunder by the differing paths the friends’ lives took, has been around since 2005, when it premiered in Canada. Goodspeed Musicals gave it a Connecticut production in 2008.

The MiLo production stars Michael Cartwright and John Costa, who met when they were both in the cast of “1776” at the Goodspeed in 2007. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets $25. Information: milo-productions.com.
