The single-named comedian Godfrey has paid his dues: roles in everything from “Zoolander” to “Soul Plane,” TV appearances on “30 Rock” and “Louie,” a Comedy Central special, a reality show, cartoon voices and the memorable commercials he did as “the second 7-Up guy” in 2002.
He’s maintained his stand-up supremacy as a regular at the Comedy Cellar in New York. Godfrey does a three-night stand at Comix Comedy Club, on the Foxwoods Resort Casino grounds in Ledyard, Feb. 5 to 7 at 8 p.m. $15 to $40. Information: 800-369-9663 and foxwoods.com.
