Taco Festival
The Connecticut Taco Festival on June 30 at New Milford’s Harrybrooke Park features tacos from restaurants and food trucks, beverages (tequila, beer and margaritas); a taco-eating contest, Lucha Libre Mexican wrestling, live music and kids’ activities. Tibet Fest
The music, food and culture of Tibet come to the Goshen Fairgrounds, 116 Old Middle St., June 30 to July 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. Party With A View
Summer’s Friday-night parties on the Riverview Garage Rooftop at Mohegan Sun kick off June 29 with Parrot Beach and a tribute to Parrot Beach. The 21-plus parties — which feature $3 Bud Lights, specialty cocktails, wine, fire pits, table games, slot machines, food trucks, cornhole and more — run 7 to 11 p.m., and there’s no cover.
