Stars of two groundbreaking TV comedy shows are in Connecticut this week — on the same night, at competing casino theaters.

It’s been 20 years since the “Seinfeld” sitcom ended its nine-season run with its characters languishing in a jail cell that could have been imagined by Jean-Paul Sartre. Seinfeld has kept his comedy fresh with solo stand-up tours, a reality series (“The Marriage Ref”), guest appearances on everything from “Inside Amy Schumer” to “Mystery Science Theater 3000,” and his unique interview show “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.” He returns to the Grand Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino, 350 Trolley Line Blvd., Mashantucket, for an 8 p.m. show July 7. Tickets are $82.50 to $150. 1-800-FOXWOODS, foxwoods.com.

Over at Mohegan Sun Arena, 1 Mohegan Sun Blvd., Uncasville, at the same time on the same night, there’s “The Off Color Tour,” a rare reunion of four original cast members of the legendary ensemble comedy show “In Living Color”: Tommy Davidson, Shawn Wayans, David Alan Grier and the show’s creator and host Keenan Ivory Wayans.

“In Living Color” went off the air in 1994. Since then, Kennan Ivory Wayans produced and directed the first two “Scary Movie” movies, Tommy Davidson has done several comedy specials, Shawn Wayans made the high-concept comedy films “White Chicks” and “Little Man,” and David Alan Grier (a Yale School of Drama grad) has done everything from anchoring the comedy news show “Chocolate News” to appearing as a regular on a slew of TV series, from “Crank Yankers” to “Bad Teacher” to “The Carmichael Show.”

Tickets for “The Off Color Comedy Tour” are $29-$49. 1-888-226-7711, mohegansun.com.

There’s yet one other comedy attraction at a casino July 7. Chris D’Elia, from the sitcom “Undateable” and several successful TV comedy specials, is at Foxwoods’ Fox Theater that night for two shows, at 8 and 10:45 p.m. Tickets are $39-$54.
