The Bikinis are back. The jukebox musical, which had a workshop production at Goodspeed Musicals’ Norma Terris Theatre last year in Chester, returns to Connecticut for a run at New Haven’s Long Wharf Theatre.

The show — “The Bikinis” — created and written by Ray Roderick and James Hindman, with music arrangements by Joseph Baker, and additional music and lyrics by Baker and Roderick, centers on a hit New Jersey girl group from the ’60s. The group is reunited for a benefit to raise money “for the good folks at Sandy Shores Mobile Home Beach Resort.”

The show will take place in the Claire Tow Stage in the C. Newton Schenck III Theatre and runs Wednesday, July 9 through July 27. Tickets are $55.

The show features such ’60s hits as “It’s In His Kiss,” “Yellow Polka Dot Bikini,” “Heat Wave,” “Under the Boardwalk,” “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’,” “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “Incense and Peppermints,” “Look What They’ve Done To My Song, Ma,” and “It’s Raining Men,” and many more.
