Pictures: Hartford's Trashion Fashion Show
Area artists and designers presented one-of-a-kind fashion designs made from trash at the Third Annual Trashion Fashion Show Saturday evening, April 20, at Hartford City Hall. More than 60 models and designs were presented at the event, which also featured displays by local artists, music and dance performances, a drumming circle, and a tap show. Hartford City Hall was transformed into a recycled forest by local artist Nina Salazar. Proceeds go to a scholarship fund for local children to attend The Sustainable Farm School.
