Peter and the Wolf

Sergei Prokofiev's orchestra play Peter and the Wolf was originally written to explain instruments to children, and it has since become a beloved tale. Now, musicians led by UConn alum Ehren Brown will join forces with puppets from the university's Puppet Arts Program and WNPR's Colin McEnroe (narrating, naturally) to perform this classic. The performance will feature Mark Gale, puppeteer and voice-over artist who has worked with various Sesame Street productions. The play will also incorporate a unique staging technique that showcases both the orchestra pit and the puppets themselves.
