XJennifer Bernstein
Simsbury native Jenn Bernstein joined Fox CT in May 2010. She writes, shoots, and edits all of her own stories. Jenn came from Buffalo, New York where she worked as a reporter at YNN, Time Warner Cable's 24 hour news station. Her first day took her to the scene of the tragic crash of Flight 3407 outside of Buffalo. She spent the rest of the year following up with the victim's families, and covering their fight for stricter federal aviation laws. Jenn also followed and reported on Buffalo's political beat.Before her time in Buffalo, Jenn worked as a reporter/producer on YNN's statewide political program, 'Capital Tonight' in Albany, New York. There she contributed to coverage of Governor Eliot Spitzer's fall from grace, a historic Senate power flip, and the 2008 elections. Jenn started her news career in various roles at YNN Albany, including the assignment desk, associate producing, and traffic reporting. She is a Union College graduate.
