XGeorge Colli
Suffield native George Colli joined Fox CT as a general assignment reporter in June 2010 has covered several major breaking news stories, including the Cheshire home invasion trial of Steven Hayes, where he tweeted live from courtroom, the Hartford Distributors workplace massacre, the Resignation of Hartford Mayor Eddie Perez and the Bridgeport tornado.
Prior to joining Fox CT, George worked in real estate and restaurant management for a family business in North Central Connecticut. In 2008, he was the Democratic nominee to the Connecticut State Senate out of the 7th District. Prior to that, George worked as a researcher for NBC Olympics at the 2000 Sydney Games. George is a graduate of Providence College, where he was a member of the baseball team.
