Angelica Spanos
Angelica Spanos

Angelica Spanos joined Fox CT in January of 2013 as a reporter for the morning news shows.

She comes to Hartford from Salisbury, Md., where she was a reporter at WBOC. While on the Eastern Shore, she covered news in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Her stories ranged in scope from the area's beaches to politics in Dover, Delaware's capital.

Angelica is no stranger to storms, just not snow storms. On the shore, she covered the damage from hurricanes Irene and Sandy and the clean up on the coastline. She was honored by the Chesapeake Associated Broadcasters Press Association with an outstanding video journalist award.

Spanos started her television career as a producer/writer for Bloomberg Television in New York City. She has a MS from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and a BA from The George Washington University. As a student, she interned in multiple newsrooms that included WTOP, WTTG, CNN, and the Fox Business Network. Originally from Falls Church, Va., she enjoys spending time with friends and family when she's not covering Connecticut's news. She is an active member of the Old Dominion Cotillion, a Kappa Kappa Gamma alumnae, and is a leader in her Greek Orthodox church community.
