Alison Morris anchors the Fox CT News at 5pm, 10pm, and 11pm. Prior to moving to Hartford, Alison was a general assignment reporter for KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh. During her five-year stay in The Burgh, Alison was a lead reporter on several award-winning national news stories including The Sago Mine Tragedy, The LA Fitness Shootings, The G-20 Summit, and Ben Roethlisberger's Motorcycle Accident. Her reports have appeared on The CBS Early Show and CBS affiliates nationwide. She also covered two Steelers Super Bowl Victories and the Penguins' two trips to the Stanley Cup Finals.
Before working at KDKA, Alison spent three years in Paris, France where she wrote for the Wall Street Journal Europe and reported on the French Stock Market (The CAC-40) for CNBC Europe. She is fluent in French and tries to return to Paris every year to practice the language, visit friends, and eat great food.
Living in Hartford, CT is a homecoming for Alison. She was born and raised on Long Island in New York and graduated Cum Laude from Yale University in New Haven. She is excited to be living and working close to family, the Long Island Sound, and Sally and Pepe's Pizza!
