COVENTRY — Last Saturday afternoon, Ellie Jean cruised to an easy victory in the Varsity 3 race at the Haddad Windham Invitational cross country meet. Her time, in the slowest race of the day, was the third fastest among girls, only a second behind the Tolland girls who were first and second. Tolland won the State Open last year.
