On Friday, April 16, FOX CT anchor Logan Byrnes will marry Dream Wedding winners Michael Melesko and Dawn Migliore live on the FOX CT Morning News at The Society Room of Hartford. This is Byrnes' second year performing the Dream Wedding nuptials and his third service overall. He is the first television reporter/anchor in Connecticut to perform a wedding ceremony live on the air for viewers to watch. Following the ceremony, a reception will be held for the guests at the same location.
Over 75 couples entered videos on ctnow.com/dreamwedding in hopes of winning a fabulous wedding valued at over $40,000. The field was then narrowed down to three and the public voted for their favorite couple, casting more than 65,000 total votes. Over the past several weeks, the public also had the opportunity to vote on the couple's first dance, wedding dress, rings, menu, hair and honeymoon.
Dawn, 30, and Michael, 35, have been together for six years and were engaged this past Thanksgiving. They both works as DJs while juggling other jobs. Up until the reveal, the couple had been rigorously saving for their wedding, having to cut corners in order to get to their goal budget of $10,000.
This upscale wedding includes the formalwear, cake, flowers, limousine, hair, jewelry and of course, the reception and honeymoon, and is sponsored by The Society Room Of Hartford, The Hair Loft, Michael's Jewelers, Radisson Resorts - Aruba and St. Martin, Rockville Bank, Arthur Murray, Mansions of Hockanum Crossing, FootPrints Shoes & Accessories, Fairy Tales Formal Wear, Rituals Spa, The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station, and Kim's Cottage Confections.
The ceremony will take place Friday, April 16 on the FOX CT Morning News with Logan Byrnes, Rachel Lutzker, Sarah French and several other FOX CT reporters all attending. In addition, users can catch it live online by visiting www.ctnow/dreamwedding.
