(Boston) The National Television Academy held their annual Emmy Awards on Saturday, May 22 and FOX CT won six including the prestigious Team Coverage Award. FOX CT won more Emmys than any other television station in Connecticut. "We have a passionate, talented team here at FOX CT and I am really proud of everyone at the station," said Richard Graziano, VP/general manager of FOX CT and publisher, president & CEO of the Hartford Courant. "These Emmy Awards are another reflection of the depth, perspective, tradition and quality of the news from Connecticut's Newsroom, which distinctly positions FOX CT from other media organizations in the Connecticut."FOX CT WTIC-TV was the only Connecticut station nominated for Best News Team Coverage, for which it won. Presented annually, the Emmy Awards honor the advancements of creative, artistic, educational and technical achievements within the television industry. Chapter members from the Pacific Southwest, Lower Great Lakes, and Ohio Valley Chapters of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences selected the winners.
